UHD / 50P 4: 2: 2 10-bit support with HEVC
With the new Canon XF-HEVC format, 4: 2: 2 10-bit UHD signals can be recorded to SD cards. In addition, high frame rate recording of 120P in Full HD enables detailed slow motion images.

Simple HDR workflow
The XF705 records internally in two HDR formats, using HLG or PQ, and features extensive HDR auxiliary functions. It can simultaneously output an SDR signal and record an HDR file internally to an SD card, enabling simultaneous HDR / SDR production.

Advanced 12G-SDI interface and IP streaming
The XF705 is equipped with a 12G-SDI connection that can transmit a high-quality uncompressed UHD 50P signal via a single SDI interface. In addition, the XF705 UHD can stream HDR recordings recorded in the HEVC format. These features revolutionise the UHD HDR workflow.

15x L-series lens with wide angle
The XF705 features a 15x 4K L-series lens with a 25.5mm wide angle and three independent control rings with end stops for flexible control. In Full HD mode, an image equivalent to 30x zoom is recorded without deterioration.
